After some time, in the popular anime "Dragon Ball Z" produced by the Toei Animation and based on the A.Toriyama manga during a series of "filler" episodes a secondary character Maron made her apparence with a similar body type and an almost identical high-cut/brazilian thong swimsuits.

To me the most remarkable sequence it's the one highlighted at 01:01 - 01:22, the side view of Maron's body walking and the way the sequence of shots appear on the screen really mimic Treena's silhouette during her stretching routine at the start of the clip.

Oh definitely! Many artists used these types of videos as inspiration for their female characters. Women in motion, women fighting, competing ...all in these ideal little outfits, perfect for fantasy.
